This is a public hearing scheduled for 9:30 AM at the West LA Municipal Building, second floorRead Moreheari ng room, 1645 Corinth Ave, LA 90025 The hotel wants to substantially enlarge the rooftop bar, stay open to 2 AM on weekends, be excused from providing required parking spaces by installing a bike rack. Case No. APCW 2008-0317(SPE)(CUB)(CDP)(ZV)(SPP)(PA1) This hotel was granted the right to add a 5th floor to an already oversized building prohibited by the Venice Specific Plan. Then it opened a noisy rooftop bar. Now it wants to increase the bar space by 57%. I and my neighbors urge Venice residents to attend this meeting and protest what are essentially illegal expansions of inappropriate businesses within the area of the Venice Specific Plan.

maybe the rallyers should have had a clean-up the bowling alley property day to get more saving the Read Morebusiness there, hundreds of cigarette butts around the entire place worse every year this millennium, dozens around the front entrance, they never get cleaned up. just an uncared for polluted pig sty. MV the gateway to Venice MDR Ballona creek ocean, the bowling alley and most of the businesses on Venice Blvd between Inglewood and Wade are the biggest contributors to ocean cigarette pollution in the county, can't even seem to be bothered cleaning up in front of around their businesses ever. it's just sad lame retarded how they don't care about trash anymore, just shooting themselves in the foot businesswise, people not wanting to come back to such a dirty neighborhood. meanwhile all the people north of Venice with their pretty garden homes. whatever. several MV parents I have spoken to said they wouldn't go back with their kids because of that, contacted AMF Corporate 3x last 10 years about cigarette issue, they don't seem to give a crap either. 1 drunk day soon I may go collect all the butts and throw them across every lane, don't even care if arrested. all the Pacific Division cops that eat at Pepy's should be citing them for littering/polluting the environment.
