Nickie Black & VENICEVILLE, the Talking Stick's house band, will open the show at 7:30, and then SISTA JEAN & CB will take over the stage. As session singer, Sista Jean's been on some of the world's best music (Cher, Mick Jagger, Tina Turner). C.B., aka Carlyle Barriteau, comes from the world of guitar playing for such artists as Patti Austin, Bobby Caldwell & Thelma Houston. Their music embodies the spirit of days gone by when all you needed was a voice and a guitar to say what was in your heart and soul!

The Talking Stick is a great coffeeshop nestled next to El Pollo Loco on the west side of Lincoln Boulevard. They have a limited menu, including some breakfast items, sandwiches, and hummus plates. Wi-Fi is free (with purchase), and the coffee is good.
