Firestone Walker restaurant, tap room coming to Venice. Santa's on his way, too, to Mar Vista Tuesday night.
Here are five things for your Tuesday and beyond in Venice-Mar Vista:
- Firestone Walker will unveil and discuss the brewer's plans for a restaurant and operations in venice Tuesday night at a free public meeting. Beer included. Details here.
- Santa will cruise Mar Vista neighborhoods on Tuesday, Dec. 3. Details and schedule here.
- The Mar Vista Time Travel Mart, 2515 Venice Blvd., is holding a private, after-hours holiday shopping event Thursday beginning at 6 p.m. The shopping event will include "holiday goodies, free gift wrapping, and your member discount while mingling with fellow 826LA supporters," according to 826la.org in an online report. 826LA, a nonprofit writing and tutoring center, provides a variety of free opportunities for students ages 6–18.
