What's Up: Robbery Suspects, Coyote Sightings, Boardwalk Bollards

Here are five things to know in and around Venice-Mar Vista today.

1. Police are still searching for three robbery suspects who held up the OneWest bank on National Boulevard on Tuesday. Details here.

2. Have you seen the new signs and bollards down at the Venice Beach Boardwalk that have been erected following the deadly hit and run? Check out the photos on Curbed LA and tell us in the comments if you think they’re effective.

3. The Venice Neighborhood Council is seeking a volunteer to coordinate refreshment service for the community once a month for Board meetings (on the 3rd Tuesday of each month). The ideal person(s) has/have time to shop on Sunday with the Treasurer, pick up donated food and coffee, arrange service table and clean up. We are open to a small committee of volunteers to divide responsibilities. Interested parties please contact VNC President Linda Lucks at president@venicenc.org or 310-505-4220.
