Garifuna International Film Festival returns May 24 for the third consecutive year
The primary focus of the Garifuna International Film Festival (GIFF) is the preservation of all indigenous cultures of the world as they are represented through films, documentaries, art, dance and music. Documentaries, feature films & short films will be screened. Workshops and lectures will take place. The works of renowned multicultural fine artists and photographers will be on display at the GIFF, including Penny Slinger, John Casimiro, Karen Redding, Eulogia Penny Goree and Greg Palacio, who has been recognized by the Smithsonian Institute.
