Mar Vista Stair Cleanup

Join volunteers on Saturday in cleaning up the stairs that go between Mar Vista Elementary School and Inglewood Boulevard. 

The stairs are located on Inglewood Boulevard between Palms and National Boulevard on the east side of the street, and people will meet at 8 a.m. 

The cleanup day is part of Mar Vista Volunteers, a program offered by the Mar Vista Community Council Outreach Committee. It hopes to have one such event once every quarter.

The first event was held on May 12 at the Ocean Park Community Center, a 55-bed homeless shelter. Volunteers cooked dinner for the shelter residents with food donated by Whole Foods.
