HGTV Seeks Mar Vista Homes for Halloween Special
Submit your home for a Halloween makeover by Home and Garden Television and you could win thousands of dollars and appear on national television.
Home and Garden Television is currently casting homeowners to be on HGTV’s Halloween Block Party.
Mar Vista Patch has been approached by HGTV and asked to put the word out to see if any of our readers are interested in taking part in the program.
The hour-long special will be a competition between three neighbors. Each homeowner will work with an HGTV design team to decorate their yard and a room or two in their home for Halloween.

If you are willing to submit your Mar Vista home and are chosen for the project, you’ll receive an amazing Halloween display,  $750 for participating in the special, and of course you’ll be featured on national television. In addition, the final decorations will be judged and the winning house will receive a cash prize of thousands of dollars.
Decorating and filming takes place August 12-14, and the show will be televised prior to Halloween 2011.
