Bee excited. Rob and Chelsea McFarland and their grassroots organization will be at the Mar Vista Farmers' Market this Sunday.

Come and learn why  HoneyLove.org - the nonprofit organization started by local couple Rob and Chelsea McFarland - is pushing to have the Los Angeles City Council legalize urban beekeeping.

Keep up the momentum by helping to sign the petition that  is already 5,000 people strong.

The petition will be available at the Mar Vista Green Tent or you can sign it online here.

Patch has been following HoneyLove since its inception and today, 14 of Los Angeles' community councils support HoneyLove's mission, and CD 11 Councilmember Bill Rosendahl has proposed a motion to legalize bee keeping to the City Council.

Don't know where the Green Tent is? It's at the Sunday market from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the center of the market at the Northwest Corner of Pacific Avenue and Grand View Boulevard. You can't miss it!
