Know It Now: New Venice Beach Boardwalk Ordinance and Another Shooting

Here are some things you should know now in Venice.

The clouds are dissipating and the National Weather forecast calls for sunny skies today with a high near 60 and mostly clear tonight, getting down to about 46 degrees.

The Los Angeles City Council unanimously approved a revised Ocean Front Walk Ordinance on Tuesday that will limit commercial vending and noise on the Venice Beach boardwalk. More details on that right here.

Crime continues into the holiday season. A man was shot in the chest Tuesday night in Venice. The gunman fled on a bicycle toward Santa Monica, police said. You can read the full report .

The Westside Cities Council of Government met Monday night and talked about improving cycling on the Westside. Details right here. They meet again today at 11 a.m. in West Hollywood. Details for that and future meetings .
