Mar Vista Rec Center Makes 'Time Out' List

In its list of free things to do in Los Angeles, Mar Vista's exercise equipment and general facilities at the Recreation Center has apparently made the grade.

Time Out Los Angeles says of the space that the free exercise equipment that boasts nine circuit training station is "sparkling clean" and offers a "total body workout.'

The review also says while the center is busy on weekends, the park is quiet during school hours and that there is plenty of parking both in the lot and on nearby streets.

Time Out also notes that a bonus feature of the area is that it's fully equipped with a pool, basketball courts, tennis diamond, volleyball courts and fields for soccer and other sports as well as indoor facilities - including a gym with weights.
