Rescue Pet of the Week: Alex the Russian Blue Cat

Alex has a thick, soft grey coat and is affectionate and playful.

Alex was one of a litter of four born to a feral mom under a backyard deck in South Los Angeles in March of 2012. Fostered at the home of a caring volunteer, Alex was adopted by a family in October.

But, when they tried to fit a new puppy into their growing household, Alex found himself unwanted and back at Friends of Animals Foundation, where he soon renewed his old friendships with the other cats and volunteers.

Alex sports a gorgeous, thick, soft, grey coat—a classic Russian Blue. He is bright, affectionate, and playful. If you’d like to see Alex, please call 310-479-5089 or email foala.adopt@gmail.com
