Rescue Pet of the Week: Kara the American Staffordshire

After nine years in the same home, Kara's family had to move to an apartment that doesn't take pets. Please help this sweet old girl live out her twilight years in peace and dignity by giving her a home.

Kara  is an American Staffordshire Terrier and spent nine years living with the same family until she was handed over to Friends of Animals when that family had to move to an apartment that doesn't allow pets.

Kara's hoping that another family can give her as much love as she has to give them. Kara may not be fluffy, but she's cuddly and lovable.

As an older dog set in her ways, she won't be comfortable living in a home that has other dogs or cats. However, she loves children. She's also not used to being left alone, so a home where her new owner or owners are home most of the time would be the ideal situation for her.
