Rescue Pet of the Week: Ruby the Cat

Ruby the cat is hoping to click her heels and find her way back (to a new) home.

I’m Ruby, a young, small American shorthair cat.

I was given as a Christmas gift to a young boy when I was about six months old. After a year, because I wasn't spayed, I had two kittens of my own. The young boy kept one of my kittens, then took me and my other kitten, Wally, to Friends of Animals Foundation.

Wally found a home in a short time, but I'm still waiting for a home of my own. I’m one of the cattery’s most playful cats and will bat and chase my favorite toys, especially ping pong balls around the shelter for hours at a time.
