Right now the rescue has many fabulous black (or black-ish) animals including Clark, Rascal, Samuel, Juliette, and this sweet guy, Newport.
Newport is a male spaniel, and maybe flat-coated retriever mix. He is around a year old.
He is a bit shy at first, but in a few minutes he is leaning against you and looking up at you with loving eyes. He is a very gentle dog. He loves all his doggy friends and just wants to be loved and shown that life is not so bad.
You can meet Newport at one of Much Love's adoptions in Venice on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the southeast corner of Abbot Kinney and Venice boulevards. You can also contact Much Love through its website.
Much Love Animal Rescue is a nonprofit, no-kill organization dedicated to reducing overpopulation, abuse and neglect of domestic animals. Much Love relies heavily on a foster program that introduces animals into a family environment and gives them the love they crave.
