'Theatre Fare' to Take Place Next Week
The featured speaker will be author and Venice resident Joan Del Monte.
The Pacific Resident Theatre will host a "Theatre Fare" next week for published writers and authors. Venice resident Joan Del Monte is scheduled to speak.
Del Monte, has been a college lecturer and published articles that have appeared in national newspapers. She has also written three mysteries all based in Venice and other parts of California, including: Plonk Goes The Weasel, Death Had A Yellow Thumb, and Mud Blood, Murder in the Sacramento Delta.
The latter was a finalist for a national book award. Del Monte also co-founded the Venice Historical Society and Friends of Venice Library.

"Theatre Fare" is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, at the Pacific Residence Theatre at 703 Venice Blvd.
