Venice-based South African artist Ralph Ziman’s new exhibit, Ghosts, opening in Abbot Kinney, is a critique of Africa’s gun culture, the Huffington Post reports.
Ziman photographed Zimbabwean street vendors holding replica AK-47s adorned with Shona-style beading to create photographs with vibrant colors that shine a light on the international arms trade that is dominating the continent, according to the Post.
"Ghosts" will be on exhibit from Feb. 8 to March 2 at C.A.V.E. Gallery, 1108 Abbot Kinney Blvd.
