This year’s line-up for the Venice Music Festival features the Luminaries, a seven-piece, socially conscious hip hop band of poets, singers, and musicians from Venice. The 44’s, an electric blues-roots-rock band that includes “Tex” Nakamura, a harmonica player for the funk band War, and Allensworth, a raw soul-funk band known for their high intensity live shows. As for food, enjoy Mexican fare from Venice’s Casablanca, famous for their homemade tortillas, a wine and beer cash bar, and other refreshments. Additionally, a silent auction offers great deals on services, local wares, and one-of-a-kind experiences from local retailers, artists, and restaurants. For more information on the event, click here.
