May Sky Internment Panel Discussion: There Is Always Tomorrow

Celebrate history, poetry and Japanese American culture as L.A. poets, community members and Venice High School students perform Kaiko Haiku from May Sky: There is Always Tomorrow, a collection written from inside assembly centers, and internment and concentration camps by relocated Japanese Americans. L.A. Poets: RICHARD MODIANO, ELOISE KLEIN HEALY and AMY UYEMATSU will read works in English.
