This week is the last chance to catch Barbara Kruger's exhibit at Venice's L&M Arts Gallery. This is Kruger's first local show in more than a decade.
The L.A. and New York-based artist's show is in two parts. The West Gallery walls, floors, and ceiling are wrapped with Kruger's words in bold black and white text. The East Gallery features a video installation titled "The Globe Shrinks" that reveals some of Kruger's thought-provoking ideas. The outside walls of the gallery also feature a combination of Kruger's words and images.
is showing Kruger's work through July 9. The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m, located at 660 Venice Boulevard in Venice.
