If you've been following Patch's recommendations on , you've already heard about 's newest show, which debuted last Friday. Now, it's time for a closer look.
The Abbot Kinney gallery, also known as the Center for Audio and Visual Expression, is featuring some of the more surreal works of Patrick Gannon, Shay Davis, and Los Angeles artist Macsorro.
Patrick Gannon contributed his works of mythological characters and landscapes to the show. The pieces are made of precisely cut layers of wood and paper with various textures, which he collects from around the world.
San Diego native Shay Davis's painting are captivating. Local, self-taught artist Macsorro's contributions are impressively rendered acrylics.
The exhibit is on view through March 5 and is located at 1108 Abbot Kinney Blvd.
