'Romancing the Apocalypse' at L.A. Louver

L.A. Louver Gallery has Rebecca Campbell's newest work on display for one more week.

This week marks the last call for Gallery's "Romancing the Apocalypse" series, the latest works of Rebecca Campbell. The Utah native has taken her talent for oil paints and transformed many of her canvases into a seemingly portrait-minded series.

The oil painting display features a colorful collection of calamitous events, some of which are centered around a stoic, young woman.  Campbell's work is engaging in both its big, beautiful brushstrokes and bright color selection, making even the most tragic event seem charming.

"Romancing the Apocalypse" opened at L.A. Louver on March 10, and it will continue on display just through Saturday, April 16.

Let me clarify: All I tried to do was re-link to the video that was dumped when Patch revised itsRead More format. The Festival of the Chariots won't be coming to Venice for months.

One year, long ago, Alice Coltrane performed. Anyone know the year? Definitely in the 70's.
