Barneys' Simon Doonan Designs Window Display for Surfing Cowboys
The shop, which was on Abbot Kinney for 17 years, was chosen for the display as part of the American Express Small Business Initiative. Small Business Saturday is Nov. 30.
Folks on Venice Boulevard may find a new set of eyes looking at them.
As part of American Express’ Small Business Saturday, Surfing Cowboys was selected to receive a window makeover by Simon Doonan of Barneys gave the display window his distinctive touch: a set of eyes added to a whimsical display of vintage surfboards in the shape of a face set into pieces of mid-century furniture and a vintage Vespa in the shop's windows, according to the Hollywood Report.
The display set-up was filmed for a segment airing on NBC Universal’s LXtv so keep your eyes open.
