Health Department Closes Two Venice Establishments

The two Venice businesses re-open after being closed for two days.

Two Venice businesses were closed for food violations by the County of Los Angeles Public Health department recently.

Venice Teriyaki, 1301 Ocean Front Walk, #15, was shuttered on Sept. 5 for vermin harborage and vermin infestation. The eatery re-opened on Sept. 7, according to online records.

Candy's Gourmet Meat, 339 Washington Blvd., was closed for vermin harborage on Aug. 28 and re-opened on Aug. 30.

The reporting period was from June 27 through Sept. 27.
