Pork Belly’s Sandwich Shop Opens Today on Abbot Kinney

The eatery will host a soft opening from 10:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Pork Belly’s Sandwich shop will host a soft opening from 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. today at 1145 Abbot Kinney Blvd.

Along with fried pickles and sweet potato tots, here are some of the eatery’s menu items to check out as posted on Pork Belly Sandwich Shop’s Facebook Page:

The Belly Up – Our signature sandwich. Slow smoked pork Belly topped with our homemade BBQ sauce and coleslaw on a perfectly warmed brioche roll.

The Smoky Chop – Brisket smoked for over 12 hours in our in-house smoker then chopped to perfection. Topped with our homemade BBQ sauce and signature Deep Fried Pickles on a fresh baked brioche roll.

Mom’s Chorizo Joe – Mom’s secret recipe – Chorizo with potatoes, onions and green peppers. Topped with a Fried Egg on a warm brioche roll.

The Veggie Joe – For veggie lovers. Veggie Sloppy Joes made with pepper, onions and homemade tomato sauce. Topped with Deep Fried Pickles on a fresh baked brioche roll.

Cheesy Chicken Parm – Lightly pounded free range chicken breaded and golden fried to perfection. Topped with homemade tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese on fresh baked grinder roll.

PBLT – Our take on a classic. Thickly sliced Pork Belly, lettuce, tomato and mayo on toasted sourdough.

Meatball Parm – Our Pork & Beef meatballs smoked to perfection then thinly sliced. Served with our homemade marinara, onions and peppers on a fresh baked grinder roll. All topped with perfectly melted cheese.

Smoky Chop Cheese –. Our classic chopped brisket combined with gooey melted cheese and pressed to perfection. Served on sourdough bread.

The Melt – grilled cheese pressed to perfection and served on fresh baked sourdough bread.

Chopped Brisket Tater Tot Poutine – Like chili cheese fries only better. Tater Tots covered with either Sloppy Joes or Brisket and finished with homemade cheese gravy.
