Actor Suing James' Beach Over Alleged Beating

Lawsuit stems from a violent altercation outside the popular Venice nightspot.

Actor Andrew Keegan is suing James’ Beach over an alleged beating he suffered at the hands of a bouncer, according to court documents filed Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court. 

Keegan claims he was put in a choke hold and beaten by the bouncers of James’ Beach for no apparent reason. The documents do not explain what may have led to the altercation outside the restaurant, but he says he sustained serious injuries and as a result and is seeking $25,000 in damages.

The actor is best known for his role in “10 Things I Hate About You” and “The Broken Hearts Club.”
