Barack Obama Due Back in Los Angeles During Monday Rush Hour

Be prepared for potential gridlock and delays as the commander-in-chief arrives at LAX sometime between 4:30-5:00 p.m. today.

LA Observed is reporting that President Barack Obama will be back in Los Angeles on Monday for two Democratic campaign fundraisers on Monday.

The President is scheduled to arrive at LAX between 4:30 and 5 p.m., right in the middle of peak hour traffic. He’ll head directly to the Hancock Park area for the two separate fundraisers. One will be held at the home of producer James Lassiter, and the other at the home of Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas.

The exact route Obama will take from LAX to Hancock Park is still unknown.

On Tuesday morning Obama will pre-tape an interview with Jay Leno for The Tonight Show in Burbank, before leaving Los Angeles from LAX sometime mid-morning, where he’ll fly to San Francisco.

Stay tuned to Patch for updated schedule changes and road closures as they become available, and expect traffic delays in and around the LAX area late Monday afternoon and mid-morning on Tuesday.

No matter what the political party, the politicians, Presidents included, know exactly where the money is and like a moth to a flame, they seek it out eagerly.
