Know It Now: Support for Schools, Winter Solstice, and a Chill in the Air

Here are a few things happening today in Venice.

Venice residents can expect a bit of a chill in the air this afternoon, with temperatures reaching a high of 62 but dropping to 59 by 5 p.m. Still, the sun will be peeking out all afternoon. Tonight, the National Weather Service forecast calls for a low of 46 and patchy fog after 10 p.m. but there is a zero percent chance of afternoon or evening rain. 

The Los Angeles Unified School District is partnering with the Wasserman Foundation to help promote parent and community involvement in school fundraising. See how they are doing it .
