Los Angeles National Cemetery to Hold Memorial Day Ceremony
Flags are flying at half-staff at the cemetery in honor of those who gave their lives serving our country.
Today is Memorial Day and the Los Angeles National Cemetery, more casually known as the Veteran's Cemetery, is dressed up to honor the nation's war dead.
In addition to the flags flying at half-staff, a ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. to honor the 14 Medal of Honor Recipients buried there, with the keynote adress being delivered by Retired Army Maj. Gen. John T. Crowe. Among those also slated to participate are actors Bruce Boxleitner, Robert Davi, Kyle Massey and Lee Purcell.
During the ceremony, the U.S. Marine Corps Band will perform and the California Air National Guard and the March Air Reserve Base will participate in a a flyover.
