Power Restored in Venice After Outage

Electricity has been restored to all customers after an outage near Washington Boulevard and Via Marina.

Power has been restored as of 2:49 a.m. Wednesday, after several hundred homes lost electricity in an outage near Washington Boulevard and Via Marina, according to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

The outage occurred Tuesday night and left 699 customers without electricity, but crews had mostly fixed the problem by Wednesday morning.

Power service was fine on the far western end of Washington Boulevard with a staffer at Nick's Liquor Store at 11:55 p.m. on Tuesday saying the lights were on.
