Federal, state, county and city government offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 20, in observance of Presidents Day.
U.S. Postal Service offices are also closed for the day, along with banks and the stock market. Schools and libraries also are closed.
Originally known as Washington's Birthday, the federal holiday was established in honor of George Washington, the nation's first president. It is observed on the third Monday in February each year, around the time of Washington's Feb. 22 birthday.
