School holiday fairs and yard sales can be a great source for gifts that give back.
If you’d like to do your holiday shopping locally and support neighborhood schools at the same time, a few Mar Vista schools are hosting holiday buying opportunities worth checking out:
is holding its 8th Annual Winter Faire on Saturday, December 10, from 11 am- 4 pm on their south campus. The fair will feature crafts, activities, entertainment, gifts and food. Admission is free.
is hosting a yard sale on Saturday, December 10 8am – 2pm.

's annual holiday boutique will be held on Wednesday, December 14th, 8am - 3pm, showcasing over 20 vendors from the local community selling handmade jewelry and gift items, candles, books, food, candy, games and much more. The boutique is held simultaneously with Walgrove's "Winter Sing" program.
