Two Foodie Fundraisers and a Chilly Week in Venice

Winter is not over. The forecast is calling for more sun Wednesday and Thursday, but turning into showers for the weekend. It's not supposed to hit the 60s this week. 

But it is the most wonderful time of the year—the Girl Scouts will be hitting the Ralphs parking lot this weekend to sell you their wonderful cookies. They will be out from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

In case you didn't hear it from TMZ, Venice resident (and resident troublemaker) Lindsay Lohan was in court Wednesday morning on felony grand theft charges, after allegedly stealing a necklace from on Abbot Kinney Boulevard. The verdict is still out on whether this is news.

On Thursday, stop by Jody Maroni's Sausage Kingdom and eat for a cause with Go Eat LA. Jody's will be giving 20 percent of its day's receipts to Aid For AIDS and The Serra Project.
