Venice Beach Cleanup This Weekend

Join volunteers in making the beach a cleaner place.

PROTECT WHAT YOU LOVE

Our monthly Nothin' But Sand cleanups are open to all.

This is a great opportunity for you and your family, friends or associates to get involved.

  • Bring cash if you plan to park in the lot (there is no discounted parking) or come early to find street parking.
  • Volunteers must be 13 years old OR be accompanied by an adult.
  • Bags and gloves will be provided. However, to help cut down on the number of supplies we use for our cleanups, please bring your own reusable garden gloves and bucket or reuse a bag from home.
  • We also encourage you to carry reusable water bottles. Water is available at all cleanups.

If you are bringing a group of 10 or more, do let us know. All cleanup volunteers must have a signed waiver formThe cleanup will begin at 10 a.m.

Note: NBS is a rain or shine event. Cleanups are only cancelled for lightening or thunderstorms due to risk. We will still hold the cleanup in light and steady rain.

GIVE A HAND TO NOTHIN’ BUT SAND

Can't join us for this cleanup? You can still make a difference and help protect what you love. Donate $5 and you can provide cleanup supplies* and let us offer educational training for two volunteers to spend an hour and a half removing cigarette butts, bags and other trash from the beach. Or, give $10 to double your impact and fund four cleanup volunteers.

Donate now at healthebay.org/give2clean.

Let me clarify: All I tried to do was re-link to the video that was dumped when Patch revised itsRead More format. The Festival of the Chariots won't be coming to Venice for months.

One year, long ago, Alice Coltrane performed. Anyone know the year? Definitely in the 70's.

Thank you, David, for your lucid and edifying dissertation on Passover. You just about said itRead More all...I would only add that if people get a chance during the holiday to view the movie version of Fiddler On The Roof they will get a truly inspiring feeling for what it meant - and means - to be Jewish.
