Venice Neighborhood Council Will Meet Next Week on a New Day

The Venice Neighborhood Council, which normally meets on Tuesdays, will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, May 22, as a result of next week’s city election.

On the agenda is a proposed hotel on Abbot Kinney Boulevard, according to President Linda Lucks. The 92- room hotel would be located at 1033 Abbot Kinney Boulevard and would include a restaurant and on-site spa as well as possibly other amenities.

A small lot subdivision that would consist of four houses being built on two lots on Brooks Avenue is among those items that will also be discussed.

The Venice Neighborhood Council meeting is scheduled to be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, in the auditorium of the Westminster Elementary School.
