VNC to Discuss RV Plan, Charter School Colocation

The Venice Neighborhood Council meets Tuesday evening at the Westminster Avenue Elementary School.

Councilman Bill Rosendahl released the draft ordinance which would allow his proposed (formerly known as Vehicles to Homes or Streets to Homes) last week.

On Tuesday night, the Venice Neighborhood Council will hear a status update on the program from Rosendahl's district director, Arturo Piña.

Also at Tuesday's meeting, the VNC board will hear a presentation from LAUSD District 4 board member Steve Zimmer, on the "state of education" in District 4, particularly looking at Venice and Mar Vista.

Other items on the agenda (attached) include a motion to recommend approval of a beer and wine license for Santino's at 1611 Pacific Ave., a status report on the City's task force on food trucks' work to recommend new regulation of mobile food vendors, and a motion to evaluation colocation of Green Dot Charter School at Westminster Avenue Elementary.

The meeting starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening and will be in the Westminster Avenue Elementary School gym.
