Candidates to Replace Zev to Gather, Answer Questions at Mar Vista Forum

Six candidates seeking the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors Third District seat being vacated by Zev Yaroslavsky will appear at the beach area’s only forum before the June primary.

The event takes place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 28, at Mark Twain Middle School Auditorium, 2224 Walgrove Ave., Mar Vista.

Candidates Sheila Kuehl, John Duran, Pamela Conley Ulich, Douglas Fay, Yuval Kremer and Eric Preven have confirmed their attendance. 

The Q&A format will focus on topics such as infrastructure repair priorities, oversight of the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, foster care and juvenile justice reform, homelessness and light rail service into the Westside.

The county’s third supervisorial district stretches from Silver Lake to Westlake Village and includes the Westside communities of Santa Monica, Venice, Palms, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Westwood, West Hollywood, Brentwood and Beverly Hills.
