BIG RED SUN Launches “ROSE RECLAIMED” Charity Event to Restore Venice Family Clinic’s Garden Honoring the Next Generation of Venice’s Rose Avenue

Exclusive
Evening on Saturday, November 9th
Highlights
the Best of Venice in Food, Drink, Art and Design

On Saturday, Nov. 9, from 5:00 p.m. –
10:00 p.m., BIG RED SUN is hosting an exclusive event and fundraiser, “ROSE
RECLAIMED”, at 560 Rose Avenue to support the beautification of Venice Family
Clinic. Funds raised from the event will makeover the clinic’s garden and
maintain the grounds at the Venice Family Clinic’s administration
building located at 622 Rose Ave.

“We are always excited to bring our
designs and resources to a neighbor on Rose Avenue,” said BIG RED SUN’s founder
Selena Souders. “The Venice Family Clinic is known as a pillar in our
community. With the changes the street is experiencing, we see this as an ideal
time for this multi-phase landscape transformation project of their space and
others to come. We are delighted to lead the efforts in this project, and look
forward to the community joining us in supporting the important work of this
terrific local non-profit organization.”

The spirit of the event evolved from
the collaboration of talents of Souders and local designer/craftsman Chad
Hagerman.  Both artists draw inspiration
from found objects in nature. Hagerman has procured large scale slabs of
various indigenous wood specimens, then artfully shapes them into functional
works.  Additionally, the event will also
feature unique pieces from contemporary artist Tony Venegas and H.O.W.L.
designer Tini Courtney, among others.
Select items will be highlighted in the silent auction.

The event and fundraiser is sponsored
by TAKE Craft Beer & Wine. Select wine tastings at the event will showcase
a selection of TAKE’s curated selection of both affordable and decadent wine
discoveries.  The event thanks Gardein for their support.
