On December 15, 2012, the Los Angeles Police Department - Pacific Area Station, will be hosting its “Annual Winter Wonderland Holiday Toy Give Awayfor needy families. Last year over 3,000 needy families and children attended our event. We anticipate as many this year. We will provide toys, entertainment, food, photos with Santa Claus, Hollywood movie show cars, and much more. All of this will be FREE thanks to generous donations.

Without your donations, LAPD Pacific Area would not be able to host this Xmas event for needy children. Any donation of toys, money or product would be greatly appreciated. With your help we can make this event spectacular and memorable!

Any monetary donations made by check should be to: “Pacific Area Boosters Association; memo line should read Pacific Toy Drive.

Beginning the week of November 21st, you can drop off “unwrapped toys” at Pacific Police Station, 12312 Culver Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90066

We hope we can count on your support and generosity this year to continue providing a wonderful Xmas event to those in need in our community.

If you have any questions or would like to arrange a pickup of your donation, please contact Officer Lisa Gropp, 36217@lapd.lacity.org or Pacific Area Community Relations Office at 310-202-2890.

Thank you for your continued support!

Let me clarify: All I tried to do was re-link to the video that was dumped when Patch revised itsRead More format. The Festival of the Chariots won't be coming to Venice for months.

One year, long ago, Alice Coltrane performed. Anyone know the year? Definitely in the 70's.

Thank you, David, for your lucid and edifying dissertation on Passover. You just about said itRead More all...I would only add that if people get a chance during the holiday to view the movie version of Fiddler On The Roof they will get a truly inspiring feeling for what it meant - and means - to be Jewish.
