Grab your beads, feathers and boas for the Mardi Gras-style First Friday on Abbot Kinney.
As usual, stores will be open late, until about 10 p.m., many bars and restaurants will hold a happy hour and there will be plenty of food trucks.
People dressed in costume will receive free goodies.
First Fridays on Abbot Kinney Boulevard started in 2008 with help from the Venice Neighborhood Council and the Venice Chamber of Commerce.
