Healthy Paws™ is happy to announce their upcoming PetSaver™ Pet First Aid, CPR & Care Certification Course at Santa Monica College 
Saturday February 16th (1st half) and Saturday February 23rd, 2013 (2nd half).

Highly recommended by Pet Sitters International, Association of Pet Sitting Excellence, International Association of Canine Professionals, PetSit USA and National Association of Professional Pet Sitters, this interactive, hands-on course is "purrfect" for pet owners and pet care professional alike.

The PetSaver certification program is an 8-hour course that will cover skills, lectures and hands-on practice in the following topics:

• Assessing the Pet's Vitals
• Primary Pet Assessment       
• Pet First Aid Kit Contents
• Rescue Breathing           
• Heat/Cold Injuries
• Canine & Feline CPR       
• Caring for Your Senior Pet-izen

• Dental Health & Care
• Seizure               
• Bleeding & Shock Management       
• Insect Bites/Stings & Snakebites
• Snout-to-Tail Assessment for Injury & Wellness

Additionally, the class includes the PetSaver handbook.  Upon successful completion, participants will receive their course certification.
