The West LA Democratic Club, in conjunction with the Westchester Democratic Club, will be holding a Judicial Candidates Forum on Thursday, April 19, 2012, from 7 to 9 p.m. at St. Bede's Episcopal Church - 3590 Grand View Blvd, Los Angeles (Mar Vista).
(The judicial election is this June.)
We also plan to present a speaker on the state of the courts in California (where justice has slowed due to major budget cuts), as well as the Affordable Care Act, challenges to which were recently heard by the U.S. Supreme Court.
