Recycle Electronics Friday at Venice Farmers' Market
Friday is the day to recycle your electronic waste free of charge during the Venice Farmers' Market, 500 North Venice Boulevard, from 7 to 11 a.m. when as Electronic Recycling Solutions truck will be on hand to collect E-waste, according to the Venice Neighborhood Council website.
E-waste items include monitors, televisions, laptops, flat screens, computers (CPUs), keyboards, mice, cables and wires, power supplies, cell phones, UPS batteries, cell phone batteries, laptop batteries, VCRs, DVD players, fax machines, printers, ink jet cartridges, toner cartridges, copiers, scanners, telephones, cameras, iPods and similar electronics, according to the Electronic Recycling Solutions website.
The free collection program, held the first Friday of every month at the market, was initiated by the Venice Neighborhood Council and its environmental committee.
Electronic Recycling Solutions is an E-waste collector approved by the California Integrated Waste Management Board. The company disposes of E-waste in a manner that protects the environment.
