Halloween Events in Venice

There are several events going on in Venice this week and next. Do you have a costume picked out yet?

Friday

Nikki’s Halloween Kickoff Party, located at 72 Market St.

 

Saturday

Dog-o-Ween. Pet parade and costume contest. There will be doggie treats, live music and lots of prizes donated by Venice businesses. 4 p.m. until sunset on OFW between 26th and 29th avenues. 

Coeur d’Alene Spooky Saturday. Raffle and prizes from Venice restaurants and businesses. A haunted auditorium, games, crafts and a chili cook off. Coeur d’Alene Elementary, 810 Coeur d’Alene Ave. 12-4 p.m.

Canal Club Halloween Party. Scary Sushi Happy Hour from 5-8 p.m.Prizes for best costume

Eternal Rest Cemetery. Tour the cemetery grounds and the morgue for a spooky experience. Not recommended for children! 7 p.m. to midnight, 414 Rose Ave. Tours will be on Saturday and Halloween night. Free.

One year, long ago, Alice Coltrane performed. Anyone know the year? Definitely in the 70's.
