Venice Canals Holiday Boat Parade Huge Hit on Travel Channel

Venice's annual holiday boat parade on the canals caused enough of a stir to get the Travel Channel to feature it on their "Jingle Brawls" episode Dec. 8.

The beloved parade went one-on-one against a land boat parade in Villa Park, CA to compete for best off-beat Christmas boat parade. Online voters had until last Friday to determine which boat parade won.

The Venice Canals Holiday Boat Parade smashed the boat floats pulled on trailers, claiming 66 percent of the vote, as reported online by Travel Channel.
