2 Wearable Gadgets should not be missed in 2014

Technology develops always beyond your imagination. Years ago, we can’t expect our phone can being as smart as a PC, however, now smartwatches, health trackers and activity monitor are starting into your life. These devices all form a new and emerging technology landscape in consumer electronic market – wearable technology.

The most famous wearable gadget must be Google Glass. It’s well known since 2012, Sergey Brin demonstrated the Glass on The Gavin Newsom Show where California Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom also wore the Glass. The Glass is, simply put, a computer built into the frame of a pair of glasses, and it’s the device that will make augmented reality part of our daily lives. With the half-inch (1.3cm) display, which comes into focus when you look up and to the right, users will be able to take and share photos, video-chat, check appointments and access maps and the Web. More than one year has gone; it is the news that Google Glass will be released to the public in 2014.

The other you must familiar with recently is Samsung Galaxy Gear, coming out with the Samsung Note 3. The Samsung Galaxy Gear, an Android-based smartwatch, serves as an add-on for Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets. The Galaxy Gear, with a 1.63-inch Super AMOLED display, has an embedded camera in its strap which lets the user take memo videos and photos by just a swipe movement. When you get a call, raise your hand till the level of ear and you can start talking - James Bond style. When working with Note 3, it performs perfect and close cooperated.
