A book lover's secret: library book sales

One book lover's secret to finding a great variety of books at super-low costs within your own neighborhood!

A few years ago, I discovered a book lover's paradise - library book sales! Unbelievable variety of books at super low prices - right within my own neighborhood!

Here's how it goes: libraries get lots of book donations from the public (that's you! thanks!). Books that the library can use get added to their circulation. All other books (and this is usually the majority) get put out at a massive library book sale - where you can grab many books for amazingly low prices! How low are these prices? I've seen some books go for a quarter or a $1, and I'm talking good quality, barely used books! Great for gifts, or building up your own book collection. In addition, many larger sales have a giant sale on the last day where you can fill a grocery size bag or box of books for around $5. The prices vary at each library, but the savings are incredible!

And, as an added benefit, you'll also be supporting a great local cause! Your money from these sales goes directly to help your local library such as with their kid's activities and adult literacy programs.

Moreover, many libraries have these sales - so you need not travel far from your own local library! Bring the family, the kids, a good friend, or go solo - and have a fun outing at your next local library book sales (you can find nearby book sales at www.booksalebuddy.com). And if you haven't converted to a library book sale fan yet, you may be one after your next sale!

Happy reading!
