Upload your Cinco de Mayo photos to share with the Patch community.

It's that time of year when the May 5, 1862, Battle of Puebla, in which outnumbered Mexican troops defeated French soldiers, is celebrated as Cinco de Mayo.

The day is steeped in lessons of history and freedom, but it's become an unofficial holiday reserved for celebrating Mexican culture, food, margaritas and cervezas.

If you're out and about and take some Cinco de Mayo photos, please feel free to upload them to our gallery.

Let me clarify: All I tried to do was re-link to the video that was dumped when Patch revised itsRead More format. The Festival of the Chariots won't be coming to Venice for months.

One year, long ago, Alice Coltrane performed. Anyone know the year? Definitely in the 70's.
