Body Found in Mar Vista

Foul play has not been ruled out.

A body was found Wednesday in the Mar Vista area of Los Angeles.

The discovery was made about 10:45 a.m. in the 3600 block of S. Centinela Avenue, said Richard French of the Los Angeles Police Department.

It was not immediately known if foul play was involved in the death, nor did authorities immediately reveal the person's approximate age or sex.
