LAPD Pacific Division Hosts Spring Carnival Fundraiser

Despite the inclement weather, people turned out in droves over the weekend to support the LAPD's Pacific Division fundraiser.

The Pacific Division of the Los Angeles Police Department held its annual three-day Spring Carnival this weekend.

The department closed down the street in front of its Culver Boulevard station in on Friday afternoon and evening, Saturday and Sunday. Thousands turned out over the wet weekend to support their local police force.

All the funds raised will go towards the division's youth programs and LAPD officials said they expect to raise over $20,000.
