Officers discovered the body of a 54-year-old white male on Tuesday at around 8:30 p.m. on the 1500 block of Venice Boulevard.
The man's brother called the police after he went to check up on the victim, whose name has not yet been released.
The case is currently under investigation and more information will be released once the next of kin is contacted, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office.
